Data deduplication is a critical technique employed to optimize storage utilization and minimize redundancy in cloud environments proposes a novel hybrid cloud approach that combines the advantages of both private and public clouds to achieve secure and authorized data deduplication. This hybrid cloud approach introduces an innovative method for managing the deduplication index. Deduplication is to eliminate redundant data copies, has gained significant attention due to its potential to reduce storage requirements and enhance data transfer efficiency also it maintain data confidentiality, the proposed approach employs encryption technique convergent encryption, ensuring that data remains encrypted even during the deduplication process.
