Author Name Mr.Enugala Ravi Kiran and Prof.Dr Jaya Jain Abstract Recent research has shown that vitamin D may play a role in a wide variety of body systems, including the cardiovascular, immune, and reproductive systems, in addition to the role it has traditionally played in controlling the metabolism of bone and calcium. These findings are closely related to the widespread expression of vitamin D receptors in the human body, which suggests that vitamin D plays an important role in the regulation of the expression of multiple genes beyond those involved in calcium metabolism.
