Industrial development is the base for the economic development of a country. Industrial revolution develops the path of progress because idustrialisation involves radical transformation of society in all aspects viz, economic, social, political and cultural. In India, industries are very responsible for providing the employment, raising standard of living, reduction in poverty and for earning foreign exchange. For making the India a manufacturing hub, the Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi initiated an important movement “Make in India” on 25 September 2014. The main aim of this campaign is to make the country as a global manufacturing hub. This programme has become a big booster for the industrial development in India.
