Static Structural Analysis of Spur Gear with Different Materials | |
Author Name Sanjay Amare, Prof. Ghanshyam Dhanera, Prof. Radheshyam Chherkee Abstract This research focuses on the static analysis of a spur gear made from various materials. A spur gear with standard dimensions, supplied by a custom machine manufacturing company, was designed for the study. Four key properties—Von Mises stress, Cauchy stress, total deformation, and total strain—were analyzed using four materials: PLA, Ceramic ZrO2, Epoxy, and ABS. Static analysis results under a 1000 N load indicated that Ceramic ZrO2 was the most suitable material for the gear. Creo 3.0 software was used for modeling, while SimScale was employed for the analysis. Key words: Spur gear, Creo 3.0, SimScale, material. Published On : 2024-12-10 Article Download : |
