VOICE POWERED MEDICATION ADHERENCE MOBILE APPLICTION

Abstract

Medication non-adherence remains a significant challenge in healthcare, contributing to poor patient outcomes and increased costs. This paper introduces a novel voice-powered mobile application designed to enhance medication adherence among diverse patient populations. Leveraging advanced speech recognition and natural language processing technologies, the application allows users to interact seamlessly through voice commands to set medication reminders, log doses, and receive personalized adherence feedback. Integrated with a user-friendly interface, the app supports real-time tracking, gamification elements to encourage engagement, and multilingual capabilities to address accessibility barriers. A pilot study conducted with 150 participants demonstrated a 25% improvement in adherence rates over a 12-week period compared to traditional reminder systems. By harnessing voice technology, this application offers a scalable, intuitive solution to empower patients, reduce caregiver burden, and improve health outcomes. Future iterations aim to incorporate AI-driven predictive analytics to further personalize interventions.
